What can I say... You can never go wrong with some fried chicken!! I've been to every state that has a Lo-Lo's and I have not yet been disappointed. The service is always great and the music..... The music is the best and it takes you back to when you were in middle school!!! You guys figure out that time frame! LOL... I'm young! Hahaha.... Overall experience is great and I would highly recommend this restaurant! Happy Yelping and enjoy eating!!
Bam, this place is an experience for sure! I sat right in front of the DJ with music blasting! The food had great balance! I ordered the baby ray and thought it was more of a country white gravy but I'm glad I got what they gave me! Great flavor and wish I could have fit more! Ate everything to the bone! The waffles were outstanding and filling! Hints of flavor that made each bite more satisfying than the last! Will be back
Lolo's is amazing. I've been going to Lolo's for over 17 years. The recipes are amazing. The food is amazing. The service is great, and they've done a remodel relatively recently. Sometimes certain things on the menu are inconsistent, but they're still good. Parking is a little bit tricky because the restaurant in Scottsdale shares a parking lot with a hotel so you have to be careful to park in the appropriate spaces. Sundays are not a good time if you are over the age of 30 because a DJ plays really loud music while you're trying to eat. It's not ideal.
Listen, don't walk - run to this place! The restaurant is nice; it has an upscale sports bar feel with a lot of natural lighting. Our waitress was kind and very attentive. Now the food!!!!! OMG 10/10. I got the soul food platter with fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and greens with turkey. So much flavor; so much crisp. And the food came out quickly. I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm in the Scottsdale area!!
It's been so long since I came to Lolo's and I was well overdue for a visit. Luckily I had some out-of-town guests visiting and met up with them here for the perfect lunch! Love all the offerings on their menu -- from the Kool-Aid on tap to the chicken and waffles to healthy salad options -- there is something that will appeal to everyone here. The ambience is always upbeat and fun with great music! The service was fast and right on point on this Tuesday afternoon. Such a fun spot for anyone looking for a little soul food in old town!
The atmosphere was fun and lively. The Koolaid was on point. The food took about 50 mins to arrive, the place was packed so that's understandable. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend Lo-Lo's.
Friends!!! Looking for some gooooodddd tasting chicken and waffles, then stop searching! The pictures here on my review speak for themselves. The waffles are crisp, tasty. The chicken here is flavored and fried to crisp perfection, definitely a secret recipe!!! I come here often and I've never been disappointed. I wanna send a specific shout out to our server ALEX......girl put it down!!! Alex was so helpful and just on top of her game!!! I appreciate good food, but also recognize top-notch service, and today was just stellar!!!
Everything about this establishment is amazing!! Fabulous food and amazing ambiance. If you are ever in Scottsdale, RUN DO NOT WALK to eat here!! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but my personal favorites were the fried chicken, waffle, cornbread, collard greens, macaroni, and seasoned fries. We really connected with the hostess, Rachel, because she was so sweet and helpful! We will definitely be coming back.
We where there at about 5pm on a Wednesday. The place was surprisingly empty. Decided to sit at the bar. As we were the only one's, we got prompt service. I ordered a beer and my beautiful bride ordered a Blackberry Paloma. When I asked her how it was her answer was, "Yummy! Sweet and fruity". For dinner, I ordered, what else, chicken and waffles and my wife a chicken dinner with spinach and okra for her sides. Food came out quickly. The chicken is the standout and was cooked perfectly. We both ordered dark meat. The okra was good. We were a little underwhelmed with the spinach but we still ate on it. We finished a little after 6 and surprisingly the place was still close to empty. Not sure why. Certainly didn't seem like locals were in the place. I wonder why?
We sure love us some Lo-Lo's!! Whenever we come into town we have to get brunch here!! The food is amazing and even with our big group they seated us pretty quick! The grits are to die for! And they chicken and waffle combos are classics!! Don't miss out on this amazing stop next time you are in Arizona!
